OPEN EXCHANGE stands for quality, integrity, and personal responsibility, and we encourage listers to adopt the following guidelines for professional conduct. While we cannot guarantee performance, we will not knowingly continue to accept listings from people who violate our Code of Ethics.

OPEN EXCHANGE is also a marketplace of ideas, and in this marketplace you may read something that you don't agree with. We request that you show tolerance and honor other people's rights of free speech and free assembly—which ultimately protect your rights, too. Please call us with your comments and feedback.

Products will work as advertised.

Services will be rendered as described.

Personal qualifications will be truthful and accurate.

Fees and materials costs will be described in advance of services rendered. This is to include establishing payment schedules and explicit provisions for refunds, where applicable.

Scheduled events will take place at published dates, days, times, and locations. Conveners will notify participants in advance regarding changes in schedule, costs, or substitute teachers.

Partial or complete refunds will be offered where listers break their commitments to participants. However, listers are not obligated by participants' schedule changes or absences.

Listers afford OPEN EXCHANGE staff the right to inspect their products or visit their services.
