Directory Listing in Print & Online
Directory listings are sold by the word. We do formatting and layout. Directory listings are placed by category, from "Accounting & Taxes" to "Yoga & Meditation." Please see the list of categories, in our "Index of Experts," on p. 7 of OPEN EXCHANGE's print version or on the home page at www.openexchange.org.
LISTINGS ARE FAST & EASY:
Listings start at $125 for 115 words. Extra words, photos, logos, or special layout adds extra charges (see "Price Menu" below.) Use our Easy Listing Form or e-mail your proposed copy to openexchange@earthlink.net and we'll calculate the price for you. (We'll help edit to fit any budget.)
For e-mail: Send your text in the body of an email or a MS Word attachment. Attach jpeg or pdf photos or logos.

HOW TO COUNT YOUR WORDS:
Each word counts as one word, long or short. Don't count each letter, and don't count punctuation. Hyphens, periods, and slashes create new words: "Body-mind-spirit" = 3 words.
COPYWRITING TIPS:
The most effective listings are invitations, not resumes. They read like personal conversations. Be professional but use plain English. Target your audience in your title. Highlight specific benefits. Explain how your service is unique or better. Describe your training and experience. Include testimonials. If relevant, list specific times, dates, fees, etc. Finally, invite the reader to "Call for details," "Call for an appointment," etc. Use your full name and phone number for best results. Photos and logos add impact and more than pay for themselves.
