Let's Do Art For Lunch

Prudy Kohler is the creative spirit behind Art For Lunch.

Does your organization need more team spirit? Are you looking for innovative activities for a party, shower, or club meeting in your home? Check out ART FOR LUNCH: cost-effective, hands-on art-making workshops that take place at your site (or other venue of your choice, including the artist's studio). And it's also the perfect time to try a fun new activity for parties (adults and kids) and other social events.

Techniques are highly accessible (i.e. easy)—Polaroid emulsion transfers are very popular—and require absolutely no previous experience. Collage, photocopy transfers, and other techniques are available.

Best of all, each participant leaves with a finished, matted piece of art.

All materials, set-up and clean-up are furnished.

This 60-minute (or longer if you wish) creative experience for a group of co-workers, friends, club members, conference spouses, etc. is fun and rewarding for everyone. ART FOR LUNCH is great for encouraging interaction and communication in any kind of group, it's a terrific activity for retreats and other interactive group events. Length and type of session can easily be tailored to your group's needs and interests.

Among the groups who've benefited from ART FOR LUNCH are Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.; Homestead Technologies, Menlo Park; Partech International (venture capital); Sierra Ventures; the California Council for the Humanities; Bay Area Video Coalition; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; the Women's Foundation; Kaiser Permanente; Children's Hospital, Oakland. Several home parties and showers have become memorable events with ART FOR LUNCH as an activity.

Participants love getting away from their computers and phones to involve themselves in a creative pursuit while they bond with colleagues.
