The Healing Atmosphere of Saratoga Springs

Saratoga Springs Retreat offers visitors a "A great place to be present" in Northern California.

Saratoga Springs Retreat and Conference Center was established as a resort in 1871, featuring several cold mineral springs. These springs leave large mineral deposits which enhance the beauty of the valley. The 260 acre facility, which can house groups from 35 to 250, was once used by the Pomo Indians for peacemaking and healing. Today the valley still resonates with this energy, which enhances the experiences of all who come to Saratoga Springs. The Resort has several lodges, many cabins of varying sizes and camping facilities to accommodate any group size and unique needs.

Saratoga Springs is nestled in a private scenic valley, high in the beautiful hills of Northern California, just 2 1/2 hours from Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. It's an easy drive from Marin, Sonoma and Mendocino Counties and very close to Clear Lake and Ukiah.

Saratoga Springs was one of the last operating minerals springs resorts in Lake County, the County that has been blessed with many mineral springs and resorts being built around them. One by one, each has closed for one reason or another.

At an elevation of 1400 the Saratoga Springs are not only known for their beauty but also for the healing powers which they possess for such illnesses as rheumatism, neuralgia, intermittent fever, kidney and liver trouble, and impurities of the blood. The waters are also said to heal skin problems, stomach ailments and a myriad of other joint and muscle problems. The calming effect of the waters also will alleviate headaches, with other minerals in the water helping those with mental health issues.

Note: there are no hot springs at Saratoga Springs, but we do have a hot pool for all guests to enjoy.

The property is currently owned and under the operating direction of David Carroll who is equally committed to the long standing tradition of the resorts legacy of believing in the freedom of the individual and their right to have a good time.
