Irwin Luck is director of a new movie over seven years in the making, MEHER BABA: Avatar of the Age, premiering in San Francisco this July.

This is a movie that goes straight to the soul and will be seen over and over by the whole world. I am not exaggerating when I say that you will witness what happens when the absolute power in the universe asserts its infinite Self as almighty love. This love as you will witness in this film is so magnificent, it can only be called Divine.

As the director of this amazing documentary film of the Avatar, I must say to all that this movie is no Hollywood production. It has no special effects and it did not cost millions of dollars to make. Just based on that, many of you may decide at first not to see it. Yet you will eventually succumb, just as I have. And I did succumb, because my assistants and I labored for 7 years frame by frame to restore this rarest of the rare, antiquated film footage so the world could see the greatest love in action. Shot in bits and pieces over a 15 year period by a man who could barely hold a camera straight. Yet he managed to capture scenes that the world will want to see for the next thousand years.

My work consisted of correcting the picture of the blemishes, spots, stains, heavy black scratch lines, rebuilding the sprocket system, cuts in the picture, shaking, rotating of picture, and restoring shrunken film footage amongst other corrections. Then there was the special optical work and editing to give certain scenes the appearance of being shot by 3 to 6 cameras from different angles, when only one camera was used. There were adjustments to film speed to allow the viewer to follow subtleties of mood, action and expressions that would otherwise be missed.

There isn't anyone I know who wouldn't sacrifice everything for the love of their life. That's why my companions and I labored the way we did and that's why you too will not be able to rest until you see the Almighty Beloved.

In the movie you will hear these words from Him:

In case you are wondering if I am some fanatic or a bit crazy, I can assure you that this took too much work and practical sense to bring this production into theaters for you to see. Neither am I much of a dreamer because everything you will see is real. I can only say that when love comes, it is far more real and beautiful than any dream of it ever could be.
