NLP Certification at Lightwork SeminarsBy Joe Nicholson
Joe Nicholson is Admissions Director at Lightwork Seminars, Intl., an organization licensed and certified through Richard Bandler's Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and which offers NLP certification in San Rafael. Becoming a therapist or working in the healing arts is a life choice that presents itself for a variety of reasons, but the decision most likely centers around a passion for people. It only makes sense that the training for such a career be as playful and people-oriented as the work itself. If you've ever considered taking an NLP practitioner program, you've probably noticed there are many different schools of NLP and almost as many different styles. Individual NLP trainers might incorporate psychology, sales, quantum mechanics or metaphysics. Unconscious installation is an instructional process pioneered by Richard Bandler, a co-creator of NLP. His technique puts to work the principles of Neuro-Linguistic Programming in teaching students the practice of NLP. In other words, it uses NLP to teach NLP. In a relaxed, conversational atmosphere with an experienced instructor, students are immersed in techniques they will soon master consciously through group practice. Learning in this style is faster and less technically oriented than any other NLP course available. The classes are more experiential and actually fun! A study last year at Ohio State University concluded that relaxation allows people to better access their problem solving skills and increases mental performance by 39%. Similarly, the ideal atmosphere for learning NLP by unconscious installation is an inspiring, joy-filled environment, which is why this method is often practiced in scenic resort locations or uninterrupted retreat settings. The stress and tension that typically interfere with learning are less likely to follow you to these locales. Students of unconscious installation actually find themselves spending more time overcoming their own phobias and hang-ups than actually trying to learn. Yet, what they experience is an exciting process of self-discovery, a realization of what it seems they already knew! And what's more fun and relaxing than that?
