The Spirit Of Professionalism:
University Of Metaphysical Sciences

By Christine Breese

By Christine Breese, PhD, founder of University Of Metaphysical Sciences, offers advanced degrees via the internet and post.

Metaphysics is considered a new emerging field of study, and it is also considered a new career path. I remember the days when a metaphysical bookstore was a brand-new phenomena, and so were health food stores. However, now they have both grown to be viable business endeavors, thriving in every city in the United States and around the world. Spiritual teachers have lived throughout history, and religions even formed around them, which are still practiced today. However, never before has such a career path been available to the ordinary person who has endeavored to know the self deeply.

Professionalism is more necessary now than it was before, though. There are many stories of abuses by spiritual teachers, misrepresentation, and even well intentioned misguidance. Now is the time when true training and professionalism should be required for such endeavors in the field of metaphysics and spiritual stewardship of others who are on this path.

I am the founder of University Of Metaphysical Sciences. I created the school that I wished existed when I was in the beginning of my spiritual path. I attempted to create a curriculum that presented all the knowledge in one place, in a practical format that would accelerate training, and to do so at a price everyone can afford.

I encourage you to look into getting your credentials if you are serious about the work you want to do in the world. Those who receive degrees and certifications in their line of work are more respected and successful in their field than those who aren't. For example, booksellers have discovered that material by authors with credentials sell better than authors without, so if you aspire to write books, a degree title is a must. Take your work seriously as a metaphysician in this era, and take advantage of the new resources available to you. What a lucky time you live in, indeed!
