Awakening In An Insane World

By John Lumiere-Wins

Lynn Marie and John Lumiere-Wins offer "Deeksha Energy Transmission."

This world of human consciousness on planet Earth is insane and has been for a long time. It is just that the dissonance of our painful delusion has finally reached a pitched intensity, that we have all begun to feel it. It is now time for us to wake up. This involves recognizing something that we all have in common: that we are all, here together, now.

Through a multigenerational transmission process, we have all been conditioned to think of everything, including ourselves, as separate things; this forms the world we think we live in. In reality nothing ever exists separate from everything else. Ever. (Except in these deluded, interlinking simulations within and among our minds. Therein lies our problem and its solution.)

As we recognize our common lot, our heart opens and we begin to sense our shared presence, we are spontaneously moved in gestures of kindness and compassion. It is these gestures, re-enacted millions of ways by millions of people, that are bringing us into a sane world. Through the felt-sense of that shared presence we can discover the felt-sense of our own presence.

And/or we can shift our attention away from the repeating storylines in our mind, which describe and retrigger our recurring dissatisfaction; we notice the felt-sensations of the actual present moment. (If we are looking for presence, the present moment seems like the place to start.)

However, if early patterns conditioned by shock and trauma have been activated by the insanity of our world, our nervous-system and psyche may get stuck in alarm or frozen or in denial about where we seem to be headed; this is very disruptive to the organism.

To restore our sense of relaxed presence, there are some simple things that we can do. These simple actions will enliven the body and relax and brighten the mind by rhythmically and resonantly stimulating and vibrating all the diaphragms and liquids of the body including the sea of neuro-chemicals that correlate with our states.

1.) Do something to bring rhythm and resonance into the container of body and feel the rhythm and resonance; this stimulates the somatic, neuro-chemical resonances of our self-activating states of distress to dissipate and reorganized into a more balanced and harmonic coherence. (Try standing and jiggling your body and voice by flexing your knees rather quickly for 5-10 minutes.)

2.) Feel sensations as you flex some of the muscles that give the body a sense of containment: stand, push down on your heels and out to the sides flexing the sides of your upper legs. Feel your upper legs as you relax. That's the sensation of the fascia, which both separates and connects everything in the body. Repeat this several times or until you can feel this fascia everywhere in your body. Move your shoulders forward and down, then back and down, feel, repeat, feel, etc.

3.) To activate the felt-sense of boundary: with your hands up, palms front, pull them back by the sides of your head and very slowly, push forward into full extension, feeling every nuance of sensation in fingers wrists, forearms, chest, shoulders and upper back. With arms extended move them around the full range of your shoulder's motion.

4.) At the top of a few deep breaths, open your mouth wide, relax the back of the tongue, make yawning sounds and yawn. Yawns relax the upper back, chest, throat, neck and brain stem; yawns increase the flow of neuro chemicals including serotonin.

5.) Yawn, stretch, lie down, get comfy, close your eyes most of the way, yawn a few more times and smack your lips, let your mind get relaxed and fluffy, and take a nap. A few minutes of napping will disengage the mind that fixates our story of duality and allow the various systems of organism to re-pattern their dynamics into more mutually enhancing coherence and you'll feel a lot better.
