"I have often said that poverty or prosperity is within our own mindset and we have to correct it. It is exclusively for this purpose that I am traveling to the United States [from India]," he explains.
"Globally, economists are getting together and trying to find a solution. As a spiritualist, I have a different solution which I spoke about recently to global leaders at the World Knowledge Forum in Seoul, South Korea. The solution I offer is a spiritual solution and I am delighted to bring these ancient tools to the West because they are solutions that really work. I have received many testimonies from people who have found relief from a very bad situation."
He said he has specifically designed a program with powerful spiritual techniques to help people shift their mental and spiritual outlook back to prosperity consciousness and hopefulness: "The whole world is facing a financial crisis. To me it is very clear that the problem we are facing has been created collectively by us. We can undo this problem and fix it so we can get back to prosperity again."
Although global economists fear the meltdown has already catapulted the entire world into a severe economic depression, Baba explains, "What is happening in the U.S., the financial crisis, is preparing us for a new phase of human evolution. Nobody expected this to happen in such a drastic way. This is a time for people to reflect and see if there is anything beyond money and materialism. It is a wake up call."
He explained that if the United States fails economically, then the whole world will also fail. "There is hope," he continues. "The root cause for all our problems, for everything that happens, is within our own mind. I am teaching techniques to enlighten the mind and strengthen our own prosperity consciousness."
