Over my twenty-one years as a hypnotherapist, many people have asked me, "Can hypnotherapy help me with_________?" and they name a specific problem, like needing to lose weight or being afraid to fly. I usually answer, "Maybe." That's because in my experience, I don't always know if hypnotherapy will solve this particular problem. I don't always know if it will work for this person at this time.

Hypnotherapy is not a panacea for all problems. Nothing is. But of all the mind therapies, it is the best treatment I know of for getting practical, observable results with specific issues, usually quickly. Issues that may be affecting you in small ways, or strongly interfering with your life. Issues you have tried and tried but are unable to solve. Really stuck places. Who wants to be so heavy you can't easily walk up a flight of stairs? Who wants a smokers' cough? Who wants to have a major stress attack because you want to fly somewhere for a vacation? Hypnotherapy is about real issues, real results.
