Stephanie Wilger, longtime OPEN EXCHANGE lister, offers Chi Nei Tsang bodywork for internal organ cleansing under Health.
I was at war with my body. The intense physical pain I felt was a fierce enemy indeed. For six years I had toughed it out with my symptoms. Somehow, I managed to get by, though I was suffering terribly with" irritable bowel". Then I become bedridden for a week with sciatica, so painful, I could not sit up to eat. Resolute, I was not going to be treated by a doctor. The drugs, medical procedures, and surgery the doctors proposed, frightened me and I doubted their effectivenessbut I had to do something!
I decided to make an appointment with a Chi Nei Tsang (CNT) practitioner whose weekend class I'd taken. I never dreamed I'd get results from one treatment! The sciatic pain went away and never came back. I was given a three-dimensional guided tour of my body in one hour. All I had to do was breathe; my practitioner did the rest with gentle touches to my abdomen and pelvic girdle. As my CNT practitioner guided my awareness through touch and breath, long-held misunderstandings were cleared and a partnership occurred within my body.
To continue my healing process at home, my practitioner taught me simple exercises after the session, which embraced where I was at mentally, emotionally and physically. I did not have to take a class or get in shape to begin and I did not have to do the exercises perfectly. These exercises: chi nei tsang and chi kung, became my medicine.

Once home, I realized that my hips were aligned in a way that I had never experienced before. This amazing transformation facilitated a deep and profound communication between my body, mind and spirit.
Empowered by my new awareness of my body, its structure and its amazing power to heal, I continued studying 'and receiving regular treatments with my practitioner. My irritable bowel pain is a thing of the past. I am continuing to heal and to thrive as I am becoming a Chi Nei Tsang certified practitioner. Today, I know my body intimately and am grateful for our communication because even when it is painful, I grow tremendously and receive such beautiful gifts of well-being.
