Plenty of people wants to change what is not working in their life but they found things didn't seem to change depsite their efforts. People sometimes underestimate the power of fears of making changes. These fears may be conscious or unconscious in them. These fears are typically present in chronic illnesses, long-term depression cases or sticky negative patterns. Behind these fears are powerful negative beliefs that can block healing from happening. These beliefs could be along the line "Things will never change", "It is so difficult to change", "I am powerless to change anything", "It takes so long to make any real change" and so on. Our subconscious is very literal, and wanting to please us, it will set up patterns to manifest these beliefs. Then, there could be the misperception in the subconscious mind that to "accept" and "flow" with life means "not to change anything" or "don't rock the boat", even if your life is not working for you. Sometimes, it is because your life IS working better now than before, you would reject further calls to change. That particular belief can really block our personal growth and the natural flow of energy. At some level, we are aware that the very nature of life is change. The only constant in life is change. Therefore, not to change is resisting the flow of life and swimming up-stream against life. All these fears and misperceptions, once recognized, can be easily neutralized using EFT, Reiki, and many other transformational techniques. Sometimes, just being aware of having these fears and misperceptions softens the energy itself and opens the window for the desired healing to occur. If the fear persists, respectfully inquire the fearful part of you for how it wants to see the change unfold. Ask for what this part needs to feel safe to undergo the change you want. Wish it love and hold it with gentle compassion. Additionally, taking the time to reassure yourself that change can be safe and beneficial for you is a helpful practice. Remind yourself of the changes you have done in the past that have benefited you and others. Appreciate the growth you have enjoyed so far because you took the risk to change. 3 Inspiring Quotes to Overcome Fear If you knew who walked beside you at all times on this path that you have chosen, you could never experience fear and doubt again. ~ A Course in Miracles There are no guarantees. From the viewpoint of fear, none are strong enough. From the viewpoint of love, none are necessary. ~ The Angel Emmanuel I will not die an unlived life.
