Do you believe you can be healed? Well, what exactly does healing mean to you? We've all seen movies where the man who can't walk rises triumphantly from his wheelchair and takes his first steps forward in wonderment, tears streaming down his face. It's the kind of healing we'd all like to see: instantaneous, magical and miraculous.

But healing isn't always that dramatic. Healing can encompass those 'unseen' shifts in behavior: the lifting of a negative emotion, elimination of the root cause of an illness, or a release that leaves one feeling more joy in their life. Results that are intrinsically more life changing, but not as easily noticed.

If we look at a disease, illness or even general malaise from a holistic perspective, it can lead one to question: what is the reason behind it all? What factors led to it on an emotional, spiritual and physical plane? How is the illness serving the individual who has it? And most importantly, what is the illness' message?

Sometimes, it's necessary to find the message behind the illness before it can fully be released. And this is not a journey for the faint-hearted. It might mean holding a magnifying glass up to yourself and becoming aware of how you have created your world, perhaps examining your relationship with the Divine. It might even mean owning up to a certain level of comfort you have in being a victim, or the attention sickness brings. Illness can also provide that perfect barrier to stop you from engaging in that which you fear. Still, true healing comes from the Divine and can wipe away illness, suffering, pain and sadness, and free one to live a life in joy, acceptance and love. And yes, it can be miraculous.

In 2004, Derek O'Neill, a psychotherapist, master healer and spiritual teacher from Ireland, was giving a 'More Truth Will Set You Free' healing and meditation workshop in New York City. Derek was speaking to the crowd in his usual jovial and affable way when he suddenly stopped and became quiet. After a few minutes, he told the three hundred or so people attending, that to his surprise, a new healing system had been channeled to him. Derek then asked the workshop participants if anyone had a big issue they were dealing with. A lady suffering from scoliosis came up, and Derek began to work on her. Within minutes of starting the healing, loud clicking noises could be heard as her bones began to straighten. After witnessing such an astonishing event, many in the audience were in tears. The modality that Derek channeled and performed that day was the Rising Star Healing System. Since then, hundreds of Rising Star Healing practitioners and teachers have been initiated throughout the world, to bring forth this beautiful healing modality of love and light.

The Rising Star Healing System is probably the most complementary healing system on the planet at this time. It raises the vibration of the aura (human energy field) and the field around every living thing. The Rising Star allows the practitioner and the receiver to still the mind, and transfer Divine life force energy to the part of your being that needs it most for healing and rebalancing to full health. Because of this, a person receiving it, say for a bad back, may find that another illness is also helped. This is because it works on all levels: physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, etheric, and energetic. The healing energy goes to where it will do the most good for your overall well-being.
