Watercolor is an extremely forgiving medium. Drawing from 16+ years of teaching, I love to help students build confidence so that they are satisfied with both the process and results of their efforts. The blend of control and spontaneity is what makes watercolor magical! I will help you to master both the glowing, transparent light colors and the rich, opaque dark colors in all subject matter, including: still life, landscape, abstract, imaginative artwork and portraiture.

Julie Cohn, BA at UC Berkeley and BFA in fine art at CCAC, has shown her work in various museum, gallery, and performance settings throughout California.
