BEGINNERS WELCOME!

I am a very patient and experienced teacher. I have taught classical and folk guitar since 1969, both privately and at the Community Music Center. I have studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and in Spain in Segovia Master Classes.

I teach chords, scales, arpeggios and music theory. Learn how to read music fluently and play pieces by Bach, Barrios, Villa-Lobos, Tarrega and other composers. Come learn songs by Dylan, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, et. al., and learn to accompany your voice with beautiful harmonies. Enhance your guitar playing and your life! I teach all ages.
