At Headwaters Outdoor School we teach skills Earth People have used throughout time to survive in kinship with the Earth. Our classes are held in areas chosen for their abundance of wildlife, creeks, meadows, forests, and spectacular views. Class locations include the Marble Mountain Wilderness, the Mount Shasta area and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Classes are intensive and we suggest you arrive prepared to immerse yourself fully.

A SERIOUS SCHOOL:
We are a serious school and not a camp or retreat center. Our classes are designed to help people become more self-reliant as we open ourselves to the natural environment. Beginners as well as experienced students are welcome in all classes. We have students as young as 8 years old up to 80 years. Our class sizes are small to insure that the individual needs of each student are met.

GOURMET FOOD:
Classes include delicious, gourmet food, and we provide for vegetarian, vegan, and allergy diets. Our focus is on healthy meals, using organic foods as much as possible, and wild food gathered and prepared in many "old way" methods.
